Our version 2.0 of our 3D printed DIYbio orbital shaker is going to be much, much bigger than our first prototype. For our first prototype, check out all the files, images, and videos here on Thingiverse.
This is to make sure it can actually handle real-world applications like agitating etching solution for electronics or moving something around bigger than a single mason jar.
To get an idea of just how big it is, check out the motion control cradle in relation to our first prototype. We've also included a graphic from SketchUp with dimensions of what 2.0 will look like when it's finished and how big it will be.
